Project Bead is a volunteer based non-profit organization focused on creating job opportunities for local artisans in Ghana by purchasing hand-crafted jewelry and mud cloth bags directly from the source. We use one-hundred percent of our profits from product sales to fund the secondary and tertiary education of fourteen Ghanaian students in our program.
Every beaded product is purchased directly from the artisans and made from one-hundred percent recycled-glass. They are triple-kiln fired, hand-died, hand-painted and uniquely beautiful.
We hope that by providing resources and support for individuals in the developing world, they are able to overcome barriers and improve their quality of life which will lead to community improvement and ultimately global advancement.
