Deborah’s paintings are influenced by her intimate relation to land and sea, which inspire the subject, content, and materials she chooses to convey the spiritual beauty of place.
At the expo she will be painting a mural – landscape.
Deborah has been painting murals and commissioned work for thirty years. She is a multi-media artist currently working with driftwood, birch, and other gifts from the sea and forest. Sewing birch and burlap, building tables with driftwood, or deconstructing paintings to work into a live edge piece, it is an intuitive process supported by years of technical training, a passion for making, and study.
