Event Beneficiary

Maine Women Magazine and The Maine Women’s Expo are pleased to be donating 100% of ticket proceeds to The Girl Scouts of Maine.

While some people still think of them as just cookies, campfires, and friendship bracelets, Girl Scouts are so much more. When a girl is a Girl Scout, she’s also a G.I.R.L. (Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader)™. These traits define girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. This is the Girl Scout DNA, and every day, girls are taking the lead like a Girl Scout!

Girl Scouts are big thinkers, groundbreakers, and role models. Girl Scouts design robots, start garage bands, and improve their communities—and yes, they sell the best cookies on the planet.

Girl Scouts of Maine, with the help of over 4,000 volunteers, are helping nearly 8,000 girls from across the state to stand up, speak out and take the lead like a Girl Scout.

Girl Scouts is the place where every G.I.R.L. can find the space, tools and support they need to consistently transform ideas into actions, turn questions into adventures and grow confidence through practice.
